Wrestler-actor Dara Singh is affected by brain hemorrhage and will go into coma anytime, in step with Kokilaben Hospital’s medical bulletin. He also underwent dialysis on the hospital and doctors say there was significant damage to his brain.
“Kokilaben Hospital releases medical bulletin of Dara Singh, says he’s affected by brain hemorrhage,” tweeted ABP News.
“Dara Singh can go into coma anytime: Kokilaben Hospital’s medical bulletin,” ABP News added.
“His condition continues to be very critical. MRI is showing significant damage to brain because of decreased oxygen supply to brain when he had the cardiac arrest,” Ram Narain, COO, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital told IANS on Wednesday morning.
“His condition isn’t good at all,” his son Vindu Dara Singh said.
Dara Singh were hospitalied on Saturday. His close friends Dharmendra, Raza Murad, Farah Khan among others visited him on the hospital.
Dara Singh, who won the title of Rustam-e-Hind for his wrestling prowess, entered the film world in 1952 with Sangdil.
He appeared in various films like Watan Se Door, Rustom-E-Baghdad, Sher Dil, Sikandar E Azam, Raaka, Mera Naam Joker, Dharam Karam and Mard. He was last seen in a 2007 release Jab We Met.
He has also done TV serials and is better known for his portrayal of Hanuman in Ramayan.
